This advertisement for the Fort Worth Art Museum displays rhythm and proportion, as Fred Astaire is dancing across the page, the images flow together, and lead the eye across the page. The images are also proportionate with the text above them. I really like this ad. I like that it is all in black and white, and the images are clean and interesting.
This photo is messy. I know that's the point, but where are we supposed to be looking? Everywhere? It seems like Dolce and Gabbana are attempting to fit their entire line in one photo. Also, nothing pops, and each outfit blends into the next, making it hard to focus on whats even being shown. I suppose you could say this image is balanced because there are models...everywhere, but still, I dont really care for it as far as advertisements go, and displaying the clothing.
Louis Vuitton got it right. They are displaying 5 beautiful items. There are three gorgeous dresses, two amazing bags, and the image is balanced. There are 3 models; one on the right, one on the left, and one in between the two. The bags are placed on the far right and left. The photo is also extremely well lit, so the products are displayed very well.
